How long does autónomo registration take?

The registration process as an autónomo can usually be completed within a few days to a week.

What are IRPF and IVA?

IRPF stands for Impuesto sobre la Renta de Personas Físicas and is the personal income tax in Spain.

IVA stands for Impuesto sobre el Valor Añadido, or Spanish VAT (Value Added Tax).

What should I do myself?

Do I need a digital certificate?

In some cases, a digital certificate is required (very convenient in any case). Should you need one, we can, for a fee, obtain a digital certificate for you.

What is the monthly social security contribution?

As an autónomo, you must be registered with the Social Security Administration (Seguro Social). This ensures that you have access to health care and contribute to your pension and other social benefits. For the first 12 months you enjoy a reduced rate (Tarifa Plana).

Tarifa Plana is a reduced social security contribution for new autónomos, designed to support start-up entrepreneurs. During the first 12 months you pay a fixed amount of about €80 per month.

How much tax do I have to pay?

As an autónomo, you pay income tax on your earnings and are required to register with Social Security (Seguro Social). This ensures that you have access to health care and contribute to your pension and other social benefits.

How do I create an invoice?

What happens if I want to cancel my subscription?

Your subscription can be cancelled at any time without any obligations.

When you cancel your subscription with us, you will receive your complete records in a zip file. This ensures that you comply with the legal retention requirements. Afterwards, we will delete your data from our system.

You will then remain responsible for deregistering as a freelancer, filing your tax returns, and handling other procedures.

How do I invoice abroad?

If you provide services to, for example, a Dutch customer with a valid VAT number, you can send the invoice without VAT. The customer must then reverse the VAT, which means that he himself calculates the VAT and includes it in his VAT return.

These are intra-community transactions. You must register in the Register of Intra-Community Operations (ROI) to obtain a valid VAT number for transactions with other EU countries. We take care of this application.
